In 1991 was founded the Cooperative Tour Guides of Venice, which deals with the management and organization of tour services.

 

The tour guides are required to show an identification badge blue with their name, photo, and license number.

 

Currently the association collects nearly a hundred guides running the tour service as well as in Italian, in the following languages: English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, turkish, Danish, Russian, Romanian, Czech, Japanese, Chinese, greek and Polish.

 

The members of the Cooperative Guides of Venice are all members of either of the Regional Association of Tourist Guides of Veneto is the National Association, which adheres to the European Federation and the World Federation of the category.
