THE GOTHIC CHURCHES

SANTA MARIA GLORIOSA DEI FRARI E

I SS. GIOVANNI E PAOLO

The Gothic architecture in Venice is a world of its own, as these two grand churches show.

The first one is Grey Friars church, where we admire masterpieces by Giovanni Bellini, Titian and Donatello; the second one belongs to the Black Friars, and is considered the VenetianPantheon, because of the many burial monuments dedicated to  Doges  and heroes of the Republic, not to mention works by artists such as Giovanni Bellini, Lorenzo Lotto and Paolo Veronese.

Because of the distance between these two churches, we visit them in two separate tours.

We require the reservation of headsets, for all groups, thus enabling all members of the party to follow the tour without any difficulty.
